Road Cycling“It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway
Thanks.. Izalco Expert. I was going to wait to see if I could get a Team Replica; but a better deal came for the Expert. Then I found out the US isn't getting the Cayo 3.0 and 2011 price bump; so I think I made a good choice.
I have owned an Avanti Corsa pro (1996 model) with 600 8 speed and just recently purchased this bike. 10speed Chorus and I love it. Freewheel noise is quite load but I see that is normal with Campag gear. Happy chap.
Is it proper to name one's bike? I haven't named mine. Also, after naming does one need to hit it with a bottle of champagne? Is this a safe practice for carbon?

Okay, one last picture of my bike now that I've replaced the ugly bar tape I had on before and put the brand new Arione CX on.
Probably won't change the way it looks much from here on. I'll probably get some red GP4000s in the spring, as well as try to drop the handle bars more as my fitness level improves.
Here's mine, slightly updates. New bar tape (carbonlook), new wheels (Fulcrum Racing 7). Even though this picture isn't BF approved, I can't really be bothered right now
