Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Awesome. Looks like a great fit. I can see how your shoulders are much more relaxed.

Is one leg slightly longer than the other that was causing one side of your pelvis to not sit as level?

Seat actually went up a little (1cm), but the big difference was moving it forward by 3cm and removing three spacers under the stem. I feel just as upright, but my quad recruit is higher, calf recruitment lower, and reach much more nature. No real difference between legs except a 0.5mm spacer between the crank and spindle of my right pedal to give more optimal lateral knee displacement during pedal stroke.

Actually, this was done in Ontario, Canada. I'm fairly confident that this service is widely available in most major U.S. cities. I was in Piermont, NY yesterday and noticed they had a Guru fit setup.

The best part of the service I enjoyed was motion analysis wherein sensors were attached my body, head-to-toe, and read dynamically while I pedalled, allowing the computer to analyze the full range of motion.

The impact of the new fit is truly night and day. I am not exaggerating - It makes me seriously question how I was able to rode centuries in such a sub-optimal and tangibly less comfortable position.

Good luck!

I was looking at these at the beginning of the year, but didn't act when the price was right.

The good sale price finally came around again, coincident with a spending mood.

I just ordered a couple chains and 3 sets of handlebar tape from Amazon.

I try to keep disposables in stock (sorta speak). I will ready my daily rider with new tires, tape, and chain during the winter. And I may find a project bike or two.

I kinda think I shouldve gone for the 130mm. I'm a 143mm in ALL Specialized saddles but I think the Power is just a tad wider that everything (perhaps it's because of the position you're in?)

I'm still partial if I want to keep it or not. I have the Ti version and it's porkier than what it replaced (Toupe @ 180g)

Have been using S-Works Power on my CAAD12. I really liked it so I decided to replace my Selle SMP on my Synapse with this one. I don't think it comes narrower than 143 though. Works for me.

That's regular price at Jenson USA - Online mountain & road bike parts, clothing and accessories shop | Jenson USA .

I love adding tubes to orders, to get free next day shipping on orders over $50.

The sale price went away, but it's worth getting on their email list.
