Short seatpost and short stem indicate that the frame might be a bit too big for the rider. This definitely adds a chill to any warmth that might be present. Fenders bottle, and, and seat bag aren't helping much, either.

I'm still searching for the exact right color blue for the bar tape, but this is as close as I've been able to find so far. It used to be that Cinelli's blue was a dead-on match, but they seem to have changed their shade in the last 15+ years![](https://i.imgur.com/vh7TxLR.jpg)
New tires (Pirelli P Zero Race TLR). I think a lighter color sidewall would look better.

(Damnit! I didn't get the cranks totally level Grrr...)

Both hot, though the Storck is way hotter.
In my opinion, I would stop searching for the perfect blue, and go black. Unnecessary matchy-matchy.

+1 on the hotness. I would usually agree on black tape, but not feeling it with that paint scheme/fork. I keep looking but can't think of any color that doesn't look a bit off.

Slammed seatpost = instant fail.
The Storck is mint. The Colnago needs black tape, and the fork painted to match the frame.

Okay then, but it strikes me that anyone posting a team replica (or actual team bike) in this thread should note that

i wouldn’t call my bike a “replica” because it’s not the same model frame as the team bikes. It’s the same paint scheme, which is classic and distinctive for Colnago, and I am using that as my guide because it also appeals to my appearance sensibilities.

Just realized, chain is not on the big ring. Oh well.

I guess since I never posted it here… Here’s my pretty vanilla 2021 Aspero in road form.
Only deviation from stock are the 303s and mixed Force/Rival group. In gravel setup it’s 32mm deep Reserve carbon wheels and 40mm Challenge tires

Points deducted for saddle bag, Varia, bottles, and...gasp!...non-aligned valve stems. Other than that...sweet bike!

surprised that I missed the resurgence of this thread! Ritchey’s are almost always hot to me, this being no exception… but as always, one should respect the rules of “hot-ness”, get the front wheel skewer on the non drive side, put the chain on the big ring and maybe if so inclined level the saddle a bit for a pretty photo (then put back into your position of comfort lol)!

agreed, it’s lovely (although I’m not sure about hot, something with the rotors just takes away from hotness). Pose it without the extra stuff in the right format and I’m sure hotness will be restored!

Bike has been updated to full Super Record 11speed gruppo, and wheels rebuilt with Mavic open pro tubeless.
The stem isn't the prettiest stem and does get dirty easily due to it's matte finish. The stem (Cinelli Grammo) is one of the lightest quill stems available though so I've kept it on

Neat paint. Route the shift housing under the tape to clean up the cockpit and rock a different stem.
I can't figure out what's going on at the seat tube lug- how are the stays attached? The paint has camouflaged the attachment. The stays look like they are sort of fastback attached under the seat bolt?
