Santa Cruz River in background. Normally there is no water in it, but yesterday's monsoon got it flowing. So I took the opportunity to photograph by bike next to water. Not something you get to do often in Tucson.

The today's ride, my Peugeot X01 near the widest river in the world: the Rio de la Plata, in Punta Lara beach, Argentina.
It's a very strange river, it behaves just like the sea, with the tide rise and falls twice a day, only that has sweet water.

View of the Mississippi River at Saint Paul, MN from Indian Mounds Park. The bike is a Ross Aristocrat custom.

Hanging Rock State Park. Not much of a climber (yet) and I rode solo 40 miles to get there to climb 1.7 miles at 8% and then back to where I started, so pretty tough ride for me. Got to enjoy this view for a bit though.

The Yahagi River in between Okazaki and Anjo, Japan, the day after a typhoon which brought a whole lot of rain.

Thank you! This is the third bike I built up from a frame, including the Rust-oleum paint job. I was a bit more ambitious with it, the first two were sort of resto-mods. This one was a complete re-purposing: a premium vintage sport-touring frame built into an English-style light roadster specifically for the Lake Pepin 3-Speed Tour. It sports a Sturmey-Archer 5-speed hub disguised to look like a 3-speed, weighs about half as much as a Raleigh Sports, and I call it my "Secret Wepin for `Pepin".
Here's another shot from the same ride, down by the Mississippi River:
