Looks like the bike did a good job of absorbing a lot of the impact though.

Not that I'd want to test it, or trust it...

In the spoke department, it turns out that anything longer than 295 doesn't exist, in any color, in these parts, anyway. I have a pair of Sunshine Gyromasters that unfortunately have the same measurements as the Records. But. I also have a pair of Sunshine high flange hubs, which will bring the measurement down below 295, and as such there are spokes in existence. Possibly even in silver. The Mavic Monthlery Pro rims have an ERD of 616, which is quite a bit bigger than most. Must be a tubular thing.

I regret not bringing a camera other than my phone today.

Of course, local availability varies locally.

I could get them custom cut, but I don't want to pay for them. With these high flange hubs, spokes will be very reasonably priced.

Anything I want ![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
But really, it's a bit underutilized. Usually just my repair kit & pump, wallet, keys, power bank, and phone.
It's most useful feature for me is the clear map case on the top. I don't use GPS for my long rides, just an odometer and cue sheet.
