No, I was watching guys going off the front. I was very passive that day. Not doing much.

You need to get some tribal tats. That'll make you suffer more apparently.

In the break - honestly not suffering that bad.

At the finish - suffering coming in second after attacking the catch. Guy that took first bridged up to my solo attempt with ~2 miles to go.

Race organizers want guys that can easily bounce your skinny butts off the course if necessary.
The bigger the better.

Motos also wear protective clothing. Some of them are big, but they usually aren't quite as big as they appear under the big jacket/pants.

Fawn Grove, roughly twenty miles in, after the second run through six miles of particularly treacherous "roads."

In my new team kit (pink and black). Definitely suffering, but mostly because of the weather... 40 degrees and raining.

Sprinting in the top three at the CWU criterium (I'm in the middle), shouldn't have led out so early as both guys are coming up on my sides.

Yup. Of the unpaved sections, that was the best of them. There were parts that were much, much worse.

Ya I think the UI guy was running a new bike as he had a velo-something-or-other at the other races this year. Those DV66's were also pretty new looking, it'd be nice to have that much spare capital

Napa downtown GP - followed an attack and snatched a prime. We got a bit of a gap and started working together. Stayed off for 5-6 laps before getting reeled in.
