In the spirit of RX, tonight I made homemade elbow rests for my tt bike... They feel sooooo much better than the default ones. Still working to clean the front end up, but definitely improvement on my position.

BTW, you can still smell dog farts when you're dead. So I'm guessing I went South vs. North.

Can you post some pics?

I'd be interested in their construction and configuration.

Allows for a much narrower elbow than the profile design would allow. Also with the wings folded up, super stable in there. I had to flip the bolt arms to the inside, as the whole construction fits inside the narrowest bolts profile design had for an option. Still need to pad it.

"perforated aluminum sheet" I had the choice of regular sheet alum and this stuff. Chose this stuff cause it was about 50% the weight. Pad will cover the top, I might tape over the bottom just to close the holes.

Got other work to do on the front end still, but this was by far the most annyoing - not being able to stabilize in the stock pads.

Don't tape over the holes, that's free speed.

Ned: Whatcha diddely-doin', neighbor?
Homer: Aw, putting speed holes in my car. Makes it go faster.

Holy **** that TT pad is cool.

If I was ever serious about TT'ing I'd tell you to go into business selling those to the slowtwitch crowd.

There is no economy of scale on doing the right thing. You either do or you don't. She works at the top of any organization she's in as a direct report of the CEO or President and gets to see the sausage being made. Most couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery and, whether competent or not, rarely are any of them decent people at heart.

I'd much rather work for someone trying to do the right thing, but can't get it done than someone who could get it done, but consciously chooses not to.

****ing hell, I should have kicked that guy out of my office. I've been working for months developing a widely used report here to track progress on some of our sub contractors. It's been worked on with a lot of input from different managers and interested parties to something that's extremely good at it's intended use. After some blowout battles to get the project back on track, I'd finally had some success with our most troublesome sub, when I got a visit from some self-important jackass engineer.

Guy came into my office and started telling me how a bunch more columns of information need to be added to my report (which he'd never even seen or looked at), and how "oh, well, I see I'm going to have to educate you." He asked to be on my distribution lists. Fine, I add him, and email him the latest issued version of my report. I start to walk him through the report explaining how it's read, and he starts making notes on *my* copy that I've been marking up with updates. At the end of the conversation, he tried to walk out with my copy. I took it from him, and told him, "No, that's *my* report. I've sent you a copy in your email." He actually quibbled about the fact I wouldn't let him have my copy of my report.

I learned later that he hadn't gotten the answers he wanted earlier from my department head (I'm in procurement), and proceeded to harass the expediter before finding me. I should have kicked him out of my office much earlier, and next time I will. Eff that guy.

You interpreted my post not the way I intended. I wasn't making any judgement on right or wrong. My point is in big business, the deals made inherently offer lower ROI than small business. Very easy to grow 150% YOY with $100,000 in revenue, extremely hard with $100,000,000,000 in revenue. No right/wrong, just logistics.
