I feel your pain. However the ONLY way I could root for the Bosox would be if one of their guys slapped Tom Brady. For nuthin.

I imagine some oil wells are fracking in Wyoming, don't know how much. I only encountered gas wells in my MTB travels around Rock Springs. With oil prices up I'm sure production will ramp up, probably not as much as it dropped off for Covid demand reduction. Could be entering another boom period for Wyoming.

Looking more and more like Sram killed my front derailluer with their update. There has got to be a better way to inform consumers that your technology needs an update other than it won't function. Or that the app needs an update because it now doesn't work with the equipment it was designed to update.
6 hours of my life so far wasted on this cludge. Very little assistance from Sram, other than asking me questions. What serial number, did you turn it off and back on? Yesterday I was down to one shifter and a rear derailluer that would only downshift. Turns out the app needed an update. Did that this a.m. . Then paired everything again. I have a rear mech and 2 functioning shifters but still no front mech.
Bastiges!

I put on my lighter winter gear and went out. It was the right decision. It was actually pretty pleasant, much more so than the other day, when it was 5° warmer but damp and windy.

Hey, it was the end of a hard race where I'd burned all but one match, and I was trying to figure out where to light the last one.

That front arrives here in an hour or so with what is likely to be some drama. Got out for maybe the last warm ride of the season and administered some pain to my friends.

I know 2 guys who have put 350 LS1 engines into 240z Datsuns. They said the aluminum LS1 weighs about the same as the original iron 6 cylinder. The weak link becomes the differential. My one friend takes his to the track and besides eating tires he has broken the differential a few times. He has some beefy diff to put in there now.
I'm pretty sure a Chevy v-8 weighs more than the 4 cylinder pea-shooter that came in that MG, though.

The problem I've been having lately is that it'll be warm when I start riding at 5-ish and a whole lot cooler by the time I get back to the car. Gotta dress for the average.

I feel like a gilet and neck gaiter can cover a lot of ground while being very packable. Leg/knee warmers, too, but only if it's going to dip in to the low 50s or cooler.
