Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

We got ours as part of a system which someone else builds, with a computer, some additional hardware, and a bunch of cool software. That runs about 50k. Thank you taxpayers!

I couldn't find any! I could find bifocals though. That's good for us upper middle age group riders.

As my eyes age into farsightedness, it's good that my Garmin is always at arms length away.

In a few years, that may be too close, and I'll have to sit up and let go of the bars to get far enough away.

I ride with reading glasses, 1:75s. I have prescription sunglasses for driving but don't take them on the bike. The ones I use come from Readers.com.

The last 5 days have been rough. Didn’t want to get my hopes up. The way things have been going I am surprised I made it.
