Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

I submitted my order ten minutes ago for a BMC SLX 01 Racemaster frameset -- one of the last of '09's in my size, and in nasty-mean black n' yellow. Also ordered the cabling and some other bits to go with it, and I've already got everything else sitting around waiting to build it up.

I've been sitting on this fence for about five months now. 'Bout time I pulled the trigger.

This is the stuff I bought last fall:

Ended up using my 20% off on the Tifosi glasses.

^Hahaha--Midwesterners are masters of understatement.

When you ask them, "How are you doing?" they usually respond with:
~"Not too terribly."
~"I've been worse." or
~"Not dying of colon cancer yet, thanks."

That actually played next to the shop I work at in the move theater. Shame I missed it.

Grammar fail, whatever.
