I wonder what my C4S would look like with a bike on top of it. Not enough to actually try it though I do have the cross bars boxed away somewhere. My wife thinks we should take it skiing but doesn’t understand that Pilot Sport Cups are not snow friendly tires. Not to mention a car seat won’t fit in the back.
But, it would look like this:
There is a guy that runs around Dallas in a 996 with a stupid looking psychodelic wrap and matching roof box. I know that's not you.

Every time I watch Mad Men I'm gobsmacked by the quality of end of the film era. On the new TV it is simply luscious in a way that makes me start to understand record aficionados.

There’s a Taycan here wrapped in matte purple with orange HREs. I so want to start peeling the wrap when I see it in the parking lot (we apparently have the same grocery schedule).
I have the factory Porsche bars. I believe they’re made by Thule.

Still torn between the DT Swiss, Fulcrum 4 or Superteams. Keep bouncing back and forth.
As far as the superteams. 50mm deep of 38mm?
I do plan on racing this bike, is there a noticeable aero advantage between 38mm and 50mm.
I also wonder the weight advantage, the 38 will obviously weigh less than the 50.

I am slowly getting more serious about tris again but probably won’t pick up a TT bike this time around. If I do buy another road bike for exclusive tri use (more likely), I’d probably go at least 60 in the rear and keep my 44/45 in the front.

I went with carbon wheels for my primary road bike because I don't like having to keep wheels true. I use Campagnolo carbon pads and have the "Hoo Yah!" brake tracks on Light Bicycle carbon wheels and the brake performance is every bit as good as the alloy Rolf wheels with Campagnolo pads for aluminum wheels. What I don't have are prolonged descents. We do see speeds into the mid 30's from winds, however I don't find myself needing to continuously limit speed with the brakes.
I have heard that in 1930 at the height of the depression the state of North Dakota had a project to remove all mountains and that it was about 95% completed when they ran out of money.

Maybe it's just me, but I have zero interest in CF wheels for rim braking. For a disk brake bike? I'd be all over them if I had enough money. But not for rim brakes. I like my Fulcrums, but I also like the DT Swiss wheels on the Canyon. Both spin nice and easy. But I don't know how to adjust the DTs, whereas I DO know how to adjust the Fulcrums, which is good, because they seem to need it, out of the box.
I just wish the fulcrums are a little deeper.
So I thought the loaner wheel was an askium but it’s actually a krsyium. She said she would sell them to me if I make an offer. I’m thinking about it for back up. I looked at the weight and it says online they weigh 1575 grams, this one does not feel that light. It was noticeably different than the mavic pro I pulled off of it.

I don’t have hills where I live either, and If I do go to the mountains I have other bikes with disc to bring, although the ritchey does climb the best, maybe throw the krysiums on it then if I buy them. I was thinking about offering 120.00 I don’t know what’s reasonable. She’s had them for years but she says that she also hasn’t used them in years.

Big John:
it is a bit of NoDak humor. What is probably the most conservative state in the USA has a state owned grain milling company, a state owned bank, one of the lowest incarceration rates in the US, no capital punishment, a law that requires pharmacies to be owned by the pharmacists who work in them, is working to co-locate the prisons with mental health treatment facilities because almost all crime is related to mental health issue, etc. And when professional baseball was segregated by race, the Dakota League was not. https://sabr.org/gamesproj/game/june...trikes-out-17/
Oh, and it is flat. The highest hill I know of in the state is about 700 ft. top to bottom, and there is a ski lift on it. There is only one Class 1 whitewater river in the state.

Why would they do that? Just to keep people working? This says there are no mountains in ND but there is dispute over what a mountain is. https://www.ndhorizons.com/articles/...mountains.aspx

This guy in Taiwan has WAY too many bikes. He has several built Colnagos in the main room, but here is his Colnago frameset room: (with a couple of non-Colnagos in the mix)
The paint on this Colnago funnybike is so sweet! Love that Basso back there too, luckily it's too small for me, so I'm not mad at him for hoarding it
