^ this isn't a For Sale thread where members post their own bikes.* Instead it's a thread where we point out bikes that are for sale on our local CL or eBay that we think are cool, or a good deal, or whatever. If you're interested in that 'Team USA' you need to click the link and query the person who is selling it. It's in Portland, so unless you are there you are going to have to persuade the seller to ship it to you or make some other arrangement.

Beautiful Vintage Schwinn Paramount Tandem in Black in great condition. Purchased from the estate of the first Schwinn dealer in Santa Rosa. Has been in storage for over a decade A true classic that just needs a little tune-up to be ready to ride. Front Rider frame size is 24" (Top Tube measures 21") and rear rider frame size is 22" (Top Tube measures 20"). Tires are 27"X1/4" Schwinn but probably need to be replaced along with tubes. Rims are 27". Seats are Unicanitor. Cranks are Specialites. Handle bars GB Stem and possibly bars (British made). Weinman brakes, levers, grips, and pads, MAFAC Calipers. Campagnolo pedals with Christophe clips. Schwinn shifters. Campagnolo Front Derailleur and all other components (Le Tour Shimano Rear Derailleur).
FR= 24" (TT=21") RR= 22" (TT= 20")

No rust is on the frame. The Brooks saddle is not included, but another one will be provided.
the tires are new Continental Gatorskins. Everything is original except the rear wheel. The components are Shimano 600 Arabesque.
This bike will fit someone in the 5'10" to 6'3" range with a standover height of 33 1/2 inches

I would have bought the blue one, but I'm tapped out until I sell off the frames and parts that have been accumulating from my Cx project. I rode the one I got today, and despite the frame being smaller than I'm used to, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable ride.
