Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So the last time I stop on the way out,I make my adjustment, I'm remounting and trying to pedal when from across the path a large dog decides to attack me. It comes across in front of them from the far side of the path. The Dog, being walked by a young couple waking 2 dogs, is now just behind me. I let out a wtf?! Control your dog! Somehow, someway, his dog attacking me was my fault. All he kept saying was,"what are you going to do about it?" While I am arguing with this idiot a woman rides by and says "yeah ,he did the same thing to me." This woman caused me to nearly crash 8 years ago when she had her dog off it's leash and it walked out into the bike path in front of me. And once again. My fault.
I hardly ever go to this beach because of the people, it's an idiot fest on the best day. But due to the shortening days I let my guard down.
So I chased down a beach cop and literally mean chased. About .5 way around the place before I caught him. Told him what happened. He looked at me like I had 3 heads. I had to ask him.. "you are ok with a guy walking a vicious dog here?" Well...no......
I gave him their description. Told him he could do whatever he wanted to with it. Thanked him for listening and parted company with him.
Karma. Karma, you can kiss my big fat ass. I haven't seen that woman since the incident 8 years ago because I hardly ride there anymore because of her! She rides by after I have another dog incident? I mean wtaf? How does this happen? And why to me? I don't look for this bull... but it's like I'm a magnet for it.

Ok , thanks for listening, rant off.
Riding your bike shouldn't be such a ....show. Good you made it home ok.

Greyhounds can't wear The Cone Of Shame, because their heads are smaller around than their necks. So, when Rango had a cut on his flank stitched up, we had to use a different approach:

This is this their second boat like this. Their first boat was a real tug that they converted for sailing the Loop. This one was custom built. I haven't talked to them lately but they must be giving up the boating life.
