Choose appropriate insert. Clamp around chainring bolt and nut. Insert hex key in front and turn!


Insert hex key through front hole.

Back insert holds nut in place.

Cyclus tool set looks to be north of $200, probably closer to $250 with EU sourcing. FWIW, if the original bolts were aluminum
then an impact driver set on tighten would instantly snap them in two allowing easy removal.
