Damn...that's TWO good reasons.

I just looked at the "Take A Look" mirror online. What stem size do you recommend? What does it depend upon? Seems like a good investment!
Updated 18:58 EDT: I see what you're talking about now as far as Stem Size. Short answer is I don't know. Best to contact the folks at Take A Look. They have contact info on their web site below.

LOL, I didn't know they had different sizes. I have the "Original" according to their web site. I think the "Compact" version may be too small. I like the fact that the mirror sits out there a ways. It doesn't block as much peripheral vision. You can also bend them to suite your needs. I like mine bent out sideways a good way so that it doesn't obstruct any forward vision.

They clip onto wire-framed sunglasses pretty well without having to bend the brackets. If you have plastic-framed sunglasses you might have to bend the brackets for them to fit.

I've been riding with this mirror for about 7 years now and feel naked without it. All it takes is a quick glance to see what the car behind you is doing. Plus, as you move your head around you can see more of what's behind you. Quite ingenious actually. It's saved me a couple of times.

They have a little "How To" on their web site:

Black and purple are my least favorite bike colors.

with long pants I try to wear black, but my cycling pants are long enough to cover the top of my shoes so it probably doesn't matter
They don't make any socks in "black and blue" (the color of my ankles and calves) so I typically just wear blue

Voted none. I started wearing Exuster SPD sandals and never looked back. That fresh air on my feet feels incredible. In winter, usually red and black wool Titaniums with calf length leg warmers in old Lake commuting lace-up SPD shoes.
