A list of Classics missing something from Ugo is deficient.

Brakes on race bikes are always overrated.

Right. in 1954 at the Le Mans race the Jaguars had Dunlop disk brakes, the Ferraris still had drums.

When one of the drivers pointed this out, Enzo Ferrari said "I build them to GO, not to STOP"

C-type in 1953 did win with disc brakes. And D-type did dominate LeMans. But I restored C-type a long time ago so I'm a bit biased.

I do like the first rule of Italian racing. What's behind you is not your concern.
