I have one more days worth of dropped ceiling work in the basement. Then base trim. And it's time to move out.
Yesterday was a 14 hour marathon . I disassembled over half of one side to replace 2 main pieces of grid. Rebuilt the grid. Straightened it. Then rewired all the lights on that side, mostly so the Romex wouldn't be tangled up around everything in the ceiling. Cut in and dropped all the tiles @ that end. Now I have to finish the ceiling along the furnace room wall I resheet rocked.
Think I'm going to buy a slide mitre saw and rent a nail gun for the base trim.

They're finding that the vaccines may also be effective against infection, not just disease, but the Primary Endpoint of the trials was severity of disease, so that's what we KNOW. Still there's some question about incidence of reinfection, too, so the smartest thing is to assume you can still get infected and still transmit to others.

Ah, yeah. With studs, I'd ride across that without a concern. Without studs? Ehhhh. Depending up on my confidence level at the time, it'd be anywhere from walking against the rail to maybe a slow roll though one of the less bumpy ruts. I would not cowabunga that, though.

Ditto. At one point I stepped outside to make sure a tornado wasn't nearby as the wind was sounding like a train.

Feel better. It won't be the last time the ego gets bruised.

OH, that's some treacherous **** right there! Even walking on it requires short, grandpa steps.

In my extensive experience with frame sizing, it has always been better to go bigger than smaller(within reason of course. Going from a 58 to a 62 was a stretch, but 60 then became the new normal) I tend to use 60 and 80mm stems. The bars and/or seat are never too low. The seat can be moved forward if need be. My two cents.
I still ride that 62, and it's a very nice, comfy ride.

We went to dinner Saturday evening with some friends, and sat outside. The high for the day was upper 70s. The other guy showed up with a shirt, sweater and jacket. I just had a long sleeved shirt - I was shivering by the end of the evening.

And even then you better have a jacket. Am I right?

I am so glad that I decided to take today off of work. We got home last night around 8:30PM and I am still a little wrecked from the whole thing. 1692 miles from start to finish and 26 hours spent in the car over a 60 hour period.
I would not recommend traveling over the DST time change. We lost an hour going from CST->EST, then lost another hour on Sunday morning before only making one of those up coming back home.

I was thinking about putting the Suntour Superbe Pro group back on my Cannondale. Pumped up the tires. Took it around the block, and figured why make something less convenient when it works perfectly now. So, inspired by the recent shopping and purchasing I've seen here, I looked on Craigslist and found this:
Complete with accessories, including Look pedals. Actually, I did some research and it seems that it's made from Tange #2 tubing in Los Angeles. It's going to be a good project. PS, it cost 35 dollars.
Edit; just saw the Made in Taiwan sticker.
