VeloNews did a story on "all-around" bikes and it came in third, ahead of several carbon bikes. A couple of guys around here have both SWorks Tarmacs and 1x Sprints and agree that the Sprints are stiffer...especially when measured by their calibrated butt-o-meter.

Yep, sprint x2. It's super stiff, especially when compared to my Wilier Izoard. LBS got a few frames in and they were bought sight unseen.

Yay! New bike! Tarmac Expert (mech. Ultegra)

Needs some tweaking: longer stem, remove some spacers, transfer my Romin over, install a Praxis BB so I can use my Quarq, and swap out the freehub on my racewheels.

Boring garage door shot, but they're my bikes. Both have been/will be raced.

2014 Giant Propel Advanced Pro
10sp SRAM Red
November RFSC58 Wheelset (Powertap Hub)

2011 Giant TCR Composite
11sp SRAM Force/Red
Stans ZTR 340s (Powertap Hub)

Both come in around 16.5lbs as pictured. I could do better but I'd rather spend money elsewhere.
I have a pending order for SRAM eTap for the Propel. Hoping to get it this summer, but we'll see.

Not quite. Team colors are black and orange, which also happens to be my faves.

Why the change to Specialized? I know you loved your Ridley.

I still love my Ridley but it was time for a change. In no particular order: Got a deal (our team shop is a Specialized dealer). Love the color scheme. Everybody I know who rides a Tarmac loves it. It's a NorCal brand (even though the frames are made in Taiwan). Peter Sagan.

Ive been told on here the saddle tilt seems more than usual. It measures about 2 deg forward in the middle half. What say ye?

It's a little more than usual. I like mine bubble-centered level, but it doesn't seem super extreme to me.

I have the same exact bike, but in matte black. Enjoy it, mine has ~8500 miles on it and the only drawback I have found it to have is that I can no longer blame equipment for bad results

Compared to the picture of you on the bike it looks totally level.

Also is that a vent in your door?

San Francisco is strange - they require natural ventilation in the garages. There's also a Ferarri 458 Italia parked inside of it that hasn't moved in the ~12 months I've been here.

Also - I'm pretty tiny (5'7), and that frame is actually an XS. It should probably fit you?

@Ygduf - yeah, on the team this season.

If there was ventilation around here water would get in, based on the splash stuff halfway up our garage door.

XS - probably the seat tube would be perfect; on my compact frame I have a 40 cm c-c. But top tube is 56.5 cm and I have a 75.5 deg seat tube angle.

I just looked up Franco Bikes, c-t on my bike is 44 cm. So I'd want a frame 4 cm shorter in height than the XS with about the size L top tube.

Yikes, yeah that would make it hard to find a bike that fits.

So are you not driving your Ferrari for a specific reason, or is that someone else's garage?

Yikes - let me clarify: our building, but the landlord leases the garage out since no one in the building has a car.
