If you don't think you're old, watch Disney+ this weekend. They're doing that three part documentary on the Beatles "Let It Be". Everything happening there was 52 years ago.

"That's my two cents worth and since two cents is now rounded down to zero cents I can only say that my opinion makes no sense."
Got a good chuckle out of that statement. Consensus is......I am old, not vintage. That is reassuring as I never want to be vintage because as it was said, "Vintage is way better then decrepit, the next phase", and I never ever want to be decrepit, therefore if I am never vintage, I will never be decrepit!

I looked at my C&V K&E slide rule last summer. Could only remember multiplication and division, the basic log stuff, but the K&E survived longer than the half dozen calculators that followed.

When your only bike with indexed shifting is a Sturmey-Archer 3-speed.

I actually still have and use my first calculator, purchased around 1972. It doesn’t seem to have forgotten to do basic math.

Anybody remember the original first-person shooter video games that came out years before the 286? Back in 1981, we had a PC without a hard drive and had this game on 5 1/4" floppy. (Play it free below.) It was a huge time suck, but so much fun.
