I have one of those too. Unfortunately not what I need. I also have a vertical mill and dividing head. I should just drill my campy cranks but I don't want to ruin them.

My 135 is for Campy I think. I’m not fluent in Campy and the years, but maybe it would be useful to me on a future acquisition. 74 bcd inner on this one. Yours must not match the Campy bcd you have.

It appears there is a mobile option but it won't let me select it. I will try and contact John. I'd love to use this for a new build.

Finally got it all to work but it wants me to open a PayPal acct which I refuse to do since having my old PayPal acct hacked for over a grand. Shame, I'm sure the product is excellent.

I was thinking that if the chain is too flexible, you'd have to over-shift more (over-compensate for that flexibility) and then correct the chain line after the shift is made. <--- this is bad.

...they work fine on all my stuff, and I have plenty of bikes set up with Campagnolo NR cranks and derailleurs. KMC sells a good product at bargain prices. Those other guys, not so much. The biggest improvement you can make on Campy NR shifting, is to throw away those stupid stainless steel coil wound cable housings, and just go with a normal cable housing in the back.

If you want the most instantaneous shifting with NR, use indexed Housing on the rear derailleur, but it's less bendy than than regular housing, so you might have to use a longer curve.

The 122bcd version is excellent, and I don't doubt the 144 is too. Jon Vara (proprietor of Red Clover) is a regular here in the C&V forum- if you really want one I bet if you contact him directly he'd figure out a non-PP payment method with you.

Oh my!, I searched and searched and asked here several times and never found that site. The prices for some of their stuff is eye wateringly high but they have the parts. They have NOS Campagnolo Nuovo Record, Super Record and also have SR brand.

I already ordered some TA replacements but may order these and keep the TA as back-ups.

How does one order an inner chain ring , as opposed to an outer chain ring? Are they the same if the rings do not have the "pin"?

The online ordering function of the above doesn't work & their FB and Insta feeds don't have anything more recent than a couple years ago, so it's possible the vendor is defunct. I sent and email inquiry, so we'll see.

I would bet on the T.A. rings being of higher quality.

The TA rings were delivered yesterday.

The Campy rings would be for originality.

Thank you for the help. I saw those. I only buy through regular retail outlets, not even ebay qualifies.

It is a good idea, though.

I was absolutely STUNNED! by the price for chain ring bolts - $140 for a set of 5. Yeah, that's right, you know, those little allen wrench goodies that hold the chain rings to the crank,... $140 for one set!

I found this pic a few weeks ago and added it to my "photos." This is from when I was trying to find someone that wanted to trade some drilled red anodized 144 rings for plain ones. I ended up removing the anodizing and they look super... these were really cool in red, but just wouldn't have looked right on my bike.

I think it's amazing to find your own, old pix out on the internets. Pictures you no longer have and totally forgot about.... but the internet doesn't forget.

I dont know. You should probably mail them/him.

IIRC, this guy is one that is fairly active on a Dutch cycling forum and he seems legit, to me.
I havent done any business with him though.

If he wont ship to US maybe we can work something out (he ships to me, I ship to you). No idea about the costs though.
Probably between 20-60 euros, uninsured but with track and trace. Or there about (depending on size/weight/packaging etc.).

Looks like 27€ flat-rate to the US.... not cheap, not terrible. If I can find a couple other things I need it'd be worth it. I'm sure the quality isn't Campy-level, but for 1/3 the price I'm looking at the SR Royal 144bcd rings... Anyone have exp. with them in terms of longevity?
