Been debating giving this a look-see, decided to put it here in case others are interested also.

Two centimeters taller and I might've driving down to San Jose today!

I haven't heard from the seller yet. How do people put a wonderful bike like that up for sale, and then just bugger off for the weekend?

Albuquerque, here is one, one never sees. May just be "pedestrian" in quality. But the headbadge has a take off of an image of that famous Picasso sculpture in Chicago; only $80. Small.

Turin France 52cm

Vintage Turin chicago French road bike 52cm. Bike is in excelente condition no parts missing everything works, hard to find a collector must have. Asking $80
Turin Chicago.

Maybe a department store bike from the '70s available in Chicago? Curious.

That was my first ten speed! Turin bike shop in Chicago sold these. Ordered mine in February of 1971 and took delivery in June. The bike boom was in full rage. They were a basic french bike. Cool graphics though.

Cool story, it is a handsome bike; and some of those entry-middle level; are okay with me. I mean, I had a yellow Motobecane Nomade, I read some charity rides in it, a bit too big for me. So, I'm sure such like that Turin Chicago could be fair to good.

I saved some pix of it, in the Twin Cities, they have those Hostelers that were imported. Decent.

I didn't end up getting it, BUT it's back up! I'm good though. Really....100% honest. Was able to finally take my Peloton out as we've been pummeled with a record amount of rain this October and the bike and I just flew. Such a great feeling. Another Peloton would be neat, but I have money and effort going in other directions bike-wise.

Swing and a miss!

Didn't get it. Apparently the seller doesn't want to do PayPal, and someone else came through with a cash offer. Crap. Not many of these around... and this one was exactly my size.

There are plenty of these around. They come up every few months, and a few times a year at a minimum. Finding your size will just take patience.

Well thanks, TimmyT, I didn't know that. I've seen the Ross Signature series 290s and 292s come up, but never the 531-framed Tom Kellogg model. This is the first time I've even heard of one, and it is exactly what I am looking for in a vintage touring bike.

What means this... p-p-patience of which you speak? Doesn't that have something to do with hospitals?
