So here's one for the experts.
Running is obviously more intense than cycling per duration - more pounding, zero even ability to coast, must work even downhill. More calories per duration. So on and so forth...
But when I do a run day instead of a trainer day - even with all that - my Garmin stress graph goes lower, faster. I sleep better, and my body battery goes much higher. Even a trainer workout of similar duration and intensity doesn't do that and leaves my heart trashed. What would cause that?

Opened a letter from Chase this morning. Apparently, when they bought our mortgage from the originator last year, they didn't tell us we needed to update the mortgagee info on our homeowner's insurance (which we of course have), or it was very easy to miss (and we've never done it before). And they waited until a few days ahead to tell us, instead of having a big alert on my dashboard when I log in to pay my cards twice a month. Got it sorted, apparently, though I'm still going to call them tomorrow.
I'm sure someone will say I should have known to do this, but our previous mortgages were bought immediately by Fannie or Freddie and I swear we didn't have to do this.

That carbon thread actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

You'll be fine. Trying to stop pedaling is thankfully an immediately self-correcting behaviour.

Pretty nice 50 miles today. Should have previewed the route a little more and made some edits since some of the roads weren't my favorite and drivers weren't as courteous as I would have liked.
Probably 95% fun. This view was unexpected and quite lovely:
Also saw this pretty little one on my way back. Risked a snakebite puncture encouraging it to move off the trail to safety.

Kudos Datlas.
Did my first 30-30s for the year this mornjng. It was pathetic. I am still most likely recovering from work, but still, I’ve gotten super weak.
I think my best was 3 sets of 500 watts and only failing the last couple of sets.
Today I could barely hold 400. My legs felt like jello.

What does an automatic garage door cost in your part of the world? We're looking into automating our five meter wide steel gate, out at the road, and our first quote, from a local guy(which we would prefer) is US$600 just for the motor. That sounds a tad high. What say you?

Yeah, it seems so. $300 there would indeed equal $600 here. Still seems steep.

Yesterday was only about 55 miles but my feet hurt this morning so I know I must have pushed hard. So I went to spin around the bike path for a couple hours. At one point some guy wanted to pass me and when he started to I moved over and backed off. He went so far to the left that a guy coming toward us had to go between us. He had some choice words for the dufus. Been a while since I've seen anyone get that stupid out there.
He turned off right after that.

I just finished my second, long awaited woodworking project of the weekend. The second was much more difficult than the first. Lots of hand planing. A hard, aerobic upper body workout. I'm bushed!
The first was hingeing and hanging a couple pairs of window shutters.
