Very cool but must not let wife see this or my office/bike room will become a floral paradise for her. She already has our back yard like a jungle and loves repurposed stuff like this. To the point she make take some of my good bike parts to make something.

I couldn't remember the date code, and it was easier to photograph than to read it there

Yes, it is. The first shot was taken when I got it home from the garage sale, and the second was taken after I finished bringing it back to life. That project taught me an awful lot, and showed me how much I still have to learn. Like how to set up rod-brakes so that they actually work.

I'll admit that the creativity is more in the use of some components and the absence of others than in the picture ...
Oh,and in imagining the marital discourse that preceded the operation of course:
She: I don't like it.
He: but it's what you asked for!
She: well, I don't like it.
He: this is the fifth bike I've built for you! As you didn't like the other four. This one DOES have a rack, this one DOES have fenders, this one IS the right shade of blue with pink accents ... WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT THIS TIME?
She: it's too big.

I often have wondered why people refer to the company as "Campagnola" with an A at the end...
OK- I see...
