Like this one, only an ion mount www.hylandcyclery.com/m/product/bontrager-blendr-road-ion-light-mount-295670-1.htm?variations=2494845&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIz4CtyLSf1gIVRluGCh1szAVwEAQYBSABEgJg5 instead of the GoPro mount.
Now that I look at the ion mount I realize it has a spring release for the light. Not sure if it's possible

How do you plan on adjusting the angle of the Bontrager Ion Light? Wouldn't it be better to use the GoPro style mount that Blendr/Bontrager mounts mimic?

A bunch of Lezyne adapters

A bunch of new stuff all for the Lezyne GPS computers. Not a big fan of the way Lezyne designed their mount. It is big and bulky and forced the designs to be rather tall. It amazes me to see that in this day and age there are still these types of mount designs being cranked out. Garmin's quarter-turn in the marvel of simplicity, Wahoo Fitness built theirs very similarly.

Lezyne GPS to Garmin Quarter-Turn Adapter
Lezyne GPS to K-Edge Interface
Lezyne GPS to ENVE Interface
Lezyne Strip Drive to Specialized SWAT Mount

Just a note, any ENVE adapter can be used on the flat Giant mount for the screw-on SLR handlebar mount.

You mean something that mounts a Cateye cyclo-computer? I don't think anyone has duplicated the Cateye mount. You are asking about the Padrone, Strada, Urban, Stealth, etc.?

Yea. Sorry I didn't clarify. I'm curious about a Cateye Strada mount that can attach to a Bontrager Blendr stem. Basically, the equivalent to the below image of the Garmin Blendr, but for Cateye computers.

I don't have any Cateye mounts, there are other people on this forum that also do mounts, maybe one of them have had a chance to reverse engineer the Cateye mount.

Waldo, I was wondering if you could share your .stl for the mounts for the madone. I am looking to modify the garmin mount to add on an attachment for and ION light and 3d print it
on my printer.

I am looking for the same thing zack is looking for. you are right the gopro mount style might be the best choice, but we would need a gopro shoe mount for the bontrager light to adapt it together.

@Tidi0x I don't give away the STL files, but you are in luck because GoPro style mounts are all over Thingiverse.com <-- Click here for a few examples.

You can also try searching Yeggi.com or here.

Waldo, I understand. I can pay if you are looking for money, I would just rather print it myself since that is why I bought my printer.
I have searched yeggi and thingaverse and there are no bar mount cad designs. its fine if you don't want to share, when I get my madone I will just model it myself and post it up.

To be honest I would never use an FDM printer for any of these items. It isn't the most robust form of manufacture if you are using a filament printer. Now if you have a FUSE 1 that is a different story. It's not about the money.

The Bontrager Blendr mount is just a renamed GoPro mount.

I mean my PLA prints are pretty tough, with a high infill I am fairly confident, I could do ABS but I have not started dabbling.

As I expected, and completely understand.

yeah, I know I have used blender mounts for a while I recognize their design similarities.

It's an eBike and its 3D printed, not ready to spend $23,500 on a bike just yet, even if they used a 3D printer.

Specialized SWAT Topeak Quick-Clip Mount

Trying to get back into the swing of things since I am almost 100% recovered from recent surgery. This time with a Specialized SWAT version of Topeak's Quick-Clip. This is similar to the Prologo U-Clip as it attaches to the back end of SWAT compatible saddles and will work on all of the smaller Topeak Quick-Clip compatible saddlebags.

Specialized SWAT Topeak Quick-Clip Mount

Will have one for Fizik ICS soon.

JR,

I need to rework the Lezyne stuff it just wasn't consistent enough, one model was too stiff the other too soft, I have feedback from someone who actually studied where it needs to improve. I just wasn't in a situation where I had the time to make all the adjustments. I will try to get to it next week.

I've done a few slight changes to my Cateye-to-GoPro mount to make it a bit tighter. A couple of users reported that the light was too loose. Feedback is that it is much better, but not perfect. Awaiting more details so I can revise again.

Thanks will look forward to your newer Lezyne Super GPS design, in addition I again do not have a solution for different size handlebars.

24 & 26 classic drop bars for barfly and garmin GPS mounts never seem to stay on securely wrapping a section of inner tube, or other rubber mounts on the handlebar they just do not stay fitted properly. (original rubber or plastic shims supplied seem to work for about a year, in Vegas after that it becomes a hack and seldom looks tidy)

Easily purchased Barfly or other inexpensive ebay GPS forward GPS mounts are for 31.8 circumferences and I wish there were narrow solid shims that were readily available to upgrade the classic 24 & 26 bicycle handlebars to 31.8 size that would last longer, or not disappear. Maybe I am blind but have not found a reliable source for handlebar shims, do you make them or can you make a referral to solve this common fitting problem of using a forward GPS mount on a classic 10 speed style bicycle size handlebars.

These are not needed for a restored bicycle collection, but quite often needed for older classics or less expensive MTB that are still ridden often.

A shim would be fairly simple but nylon used in 3D printing is a very slippery substance and even a very good fit might not hold as well as you may need it to. Just thinking out loud.

The Lezyne redesigns should be done by the end of the week.

Started redesigning the Lezyne parts. So far the only one available is the K-Edge Insert. It does require the reuse of the K-Edge screws and you have to angle them in at the start to get them inserted.

Would double stick tape solve the Nylon slippery surface on both the handlebar and surface of the shim? That would be much cleaner look than split Automotive Hose that tends to fray and quickly look really untidy...

Lezyne in Jersey back pocket currently...
