Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm more tired than I thought. Went out solo for 2.5 hours and it hurt a little climbing back up the house.

What's the acceptable height?

Bonus question: If you're operating an electric mower, and it starts to rain, can you get electrocuted?

Battery or corded?

Better chances if the latter, but you'd still pretty much have to want to get electrocuted to make it happen.

We had a pretty serious incident today in Kentucky. One of us went down due to a broken crank axel. His frame is a Cannondale with the rear derailuer cable run through the b.b.
Apparently the cable was rubbing on the crankset axel long enough to cut through it far enough that when he was climbing behind me, it snapped. The side with the rings came out of the b.b. and all his weight went to the other crankarm. The front wheel turned sideways and he went over the bars. Bearing in mind we were going 22-24 mph. No broken bones, some road rash on him and his bike. A local gentleman. We flagged down actually said without hesitation " absolutely, get in throw your bike in the back" brought him back to the hotel.

1. 1 3/8 inches

2. There is no more risk using a battery powered than a gas powered. It also depends if there is a chance of lightening. Rain doesn't always come with lightening. TTKU.

Very unlikely, especially using a grounded power cord.

Hey, so that day a few weeks ago, the one I said was 'windy AF'? Today I Learned what 'windy AF' really means. Sheesh! Plus when there's a strong wind blowing around and over multiple obstacles before it gets to you, the wind direction can change radically within less than 100 yards - riding along with a 20 mph tailwind and suddenly the wind is coming from the side an trying to blow your front wheel out from under you!

only 2.5 hours and you're tired after big miles yesterday. A lot of people would like that problem. I would guess 1% of people >65 could do that. Keep it up.
