We can't identify the bicycle model without photos but|I can tell you that it was manufactured in Japan, during October 1978 or October 1988 and is therefore either a 1979 or 1989 model. Most likely, it is the latter.

The seat tube has a Piaggio decal, which should make it circa 1981-1984. I have never seen an Ishiwata 022 decal on the fork, which is a bit suspicious. But it does have Japanese components, so if the 022 decal is legitimate it should be a Bianchi Limited. Japanese Bianchi typically have the serial number stamped on the bottom bracket (i.e. the underside of the frame where the crankset is installed).

Is there no way to see the serial number within a photo? This bike was just stolen out of my garage last week and I think I found it on craigslist but I can't prove its mine without the number..</3

Definitely 1989, as opposed to 1979. However, it has been heavily modified. The crankset appear to be SunTour Edge or Blaze. The derailleurs, brakes and hubs appear to be Shimano, though I can't positively identify them. The rims and pedals are obvious upgrades. It's hard to say what it might have started out as. Post the RD-number, FD-number and BR-numbers off the back of the rear derailleur, front derailleur and brakes. There should also be double letter date codes on each. Maybe if they all match up, we can determine the component group and then the model.

Then take a look at the bike you think was stolen from you:
There are a whole host of differences, but the most noticeable one is that the second bike is much bigger than yours, by far (look at the size of the head tube, which is the short tube just above the fork).

Hi. Just picked this up. Researching it. Most decals are missing. Full shimano tri-color 600, mavic hubs, cinelli bars and stem (?), mavic rims........Interesting fork, all chrome. Anyone have info on model? Thanks.

^^ Wow, have you got a project on your hand!
Sorry, can't help with the identification but it was a nice one. Are the wheels tubular?

Rode it as-is with cheap Campy components for a year - sold the frame to a kid who said will ride it single-speed. I did recoat it with pearl clear to protect it from rust.

Here's my Trofeo with new bar tape and a different saddle since May. After a Summer of riding, it needs a clean, lube & wax before the Winter. I found the bare frame at a swap meet in Seattle years ago, then built up with parts I had on hand at the time. Don

1980 Bianchi Super Corsa
After a fiasco with a cracked Super Leggera frame last month, I was able to get a similar frame from a community member. A 1980 Bianchi Super Corsa instead of 1981 Super Leggera so Super Record throughout and some other minor component differences, but same frame. Although this one is a bit earlier so has a different brake bridge and shallower "B" on headlug.
Currently outfitted with heavy duty training wheelset, lol. Original would be ultralight Mavic OR7 with aluminum Everest and hub spaced/dished for portacatena that isn't currently installed. (If you have these rims let me know.)
