When I was in my early teens I knew all the lyrics to all the Dylan songs I heard. Still remember a lot of them.
Certainly you've heard of The Byrds? They did lots of Dylan songs.

Yup, that's the sole Byrds song I have. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of 60s era singles that I love - Jefferson Airplane, Buffalo Springfield. Cowsills, Barry McGuire, etc. But they're all singles, no interest in their albums. As well, much of the stuff guys share around here, or that my wife knows, I never heard of. But I've got a bunch of stuff she's never heard of either. It's all a matter of what world you grew up in.

Parallel! Grew up to/came of age with rock, especially British, but childhood/schooldays friend's old man was a big-time jazz fan -- all kinds/eras. Had a very comprehensive record collection. Hence the early Brubeck purchase on my part. And you are right -- there is so much of it to love. I have a particular love for BeBop and derivatives (Parker; Gordon; Pepper etc.) but can appreciate almost anything as long as there's a core melody/theme somewhere in the composition. The 'experimental' stuff not so much.

I’ve been noticing that my garmin has a speed discrepancy whenever there are trees in the equation. Today I was tracking along the cap trail at 19 mph when I came upon some trees. My speed immediately dropped to 14-16 mph. My wattage, and cadence stayed the same and I didn’t shift gears. The trees are disrupting the unit from tracking speed.
My question, if it’s disrupting speed can be disrupting distance?
Not a huge deal, but It was all I could think about while I was pedaling this morning.

Nobody would judge you.
Gauntlet thrown.
Just got done with the trial. 150 billable hours in two weeks is kicking my ass. At least now I can twist off for a bit.

When is shedding season for Ms Benson? Do you have to hire someone to help keep up with it?

Most people can’t tell the difference anyway if you have a good fake plastic tree.

Meanwhile, I don't understand why my GSD and Beagle-boy aren't bald, considering how much dog hair collects in the corners of my house.

Today was our annual Holiday Lunch. We held it onsite, rather than going out as we did pre-COVID. We got Indian food. And somebody brought 3 different cakes. I swear, they're trying to kill me.
