Todays ride was interesting. The hardest part was getting out of bed, but once that was done I just could not seem to figure out where I wanted to go. I wanted 60 miles with little climbing, and I was basically fighting with myself the whorl time deciding on my route.
Ended up on the cap trail which was slammed with cyclist. No one did anything dumb today which was surprising. I did come on someone who was riding a time trial bike. Complete aero geeked out. As I was coming up on them it looked like they were working pretty hard, I passed them like they were standing still while only in zone 2 which was pretty cool. Boosted my ego quite a bit. So much so, I chose to bypass food again, and blew up around mile 49.
I bought a pay day, and pretzels, and a low sugar electyote drink. After eating I instantly felt better.

Went to top golf for the first time today. Actually my first time playing any kind of golf. I tried once in high school but didn’t get past the first hole nor did I take it seriously.
Anywho. I did pretty good. I had no idea what I was doing, but from all the Tv I have watched, it’s always told “don’t take your eye off the ball”. So, I didn’t take my eye off the ball and had some pretty sweet drives. Made it 200 yards a couple of times. I also sliced a bunch too so I am far from any prodigy.
Wife is not amused that I might have another expensive hobby.

At least you got to ride, I spent the day digging out a mulch bed and worrying about my kid.
My ex wife is being a real **** about all of this. Rather than look at the real issues, she want to blame my wife

Yea, I guess my life is pretty good right now. Next month will suck for things already mentioned, but children arnt involved. Hope your situation improves. Never been in that situation but if one is to focused on blame and not a solution that doesn’t do any good.
Wife and I have it worked out pretty well. If I am home I am riding, but this might mean I have to wake up at 330 am. Sometimes that’s easier said then done.

A couple weeks ago I detailed the new car. While on the pas. Side I pulled on the seat belt apparently at some point. Due to a twist in the belt it didn't retract all the way leaving slack it the belt. Every time I hot the brakes the buckle would slide along the door panel Maki g this hollow, dragging noise. I was almost in a panic. I finally saw the belt move out of the corner of my eye. What a relief!

I have a hunch that this morning people complained to park workers about the group who was loud and obnoxious until nearly midnight last night. Alcohol is not allowed in NJ state parks, but they were clearly drunk (I could hear there bottles) and loud, and there dogs barked a lot. Tonight they are extremely well behaved.
