Yellow seat or not ?

Surprising then how many pros run colored tires. I don't know much about tire tech but I'm guessing there's a substitute for carbon black that allows colored tires to be, for all intents and purposes, just as good as black tires.

Hey Sly, nice to see you here. My vote is for the yellow seat, such as the Fizik Arione Wing Flex in yellow (which is on my own 2007 Scott CR1 Pro; you've seen it during our OHBC rides from the fire station).

But for training, who cares? I use red GP4000 for training, but I'm gonna switch to the black chili GP4000s when spring comes around and I actually care about tire performance.

People are starving. 401ks are evaporating. The world economy is in dire straits. And we worry about the color of our saddles. We suck.

Hey, how are you doing? Great to see you here as well. I was looking at the Arione Wing Flex, but I think my "butt parts" may not fit. That seat is kind of narrow. I will go to the "Bike Doctor" and get a measurement so I will not select the wrong seat. Thanks for the input. See you at the club dinner saturday !

Such as? Vast majority of professional bicycle racers ride tubulars. I haven't seen many colored tubulars.

Maybe I should just buy a "Purple" seat and when people ask me why did I put a purple seat on my yellow bike I can say " People are starving. 401ks are evaporating. The world economy is in dire straits. And we worry about the color of our saddles. We suck "

At qbike.com search tubular + color of your choice. There are quite a few. I much prefer colored tires, tape, saddle, frames. The ubiquitous mono look is for conformists

You must have done something terrible to be deserving of such feelings.
You have my sincere pity.

Just for the records, I decided "NOT" to get the yellow seat and went with a "black Selle Italia Flite genuine gel " It looks good but feels a bit hard. I am told that it needs to be broken in and after some miles it will get comfortable I surely hope this is true before this thing breaks my ***. Sitting on this seat is like sitting on a rock at this point !!! Does cold weather affect the gel in this seat?
