Hang in there, I know it's frustrating and painful but you'll get through it. My case finally cleared up middle of this past week, was able to get two semi-normal training sessions in Weds & Thurs (just zone 2, didn't feel legs were ready for anything too intense as they were still a bit sore). Alas, I'm still losing bike fitness since we left on vacation Friday. By the time we get back I'll have been off the bike for the better part of 3 weeks. It could have been worse though, I'm thankful it didn't hit while on vacation.

Finished up one of my biggest weeks on the bike (320 miles and 20k+ climbing) with a climb up mt lemmon. Legs are trashed. Love that feeling

4x12' Z4 on the trainer last night. It was windy out. Off today. Tomorrow says 7x2' hill repeats, which is fine and all but the high temperature is 37 F or something. I hate doing anaerobic intervals in the cold.

The hardest part about that stuff is when you're warming up or recovering between intervals you're too cold, but when you're going hard you're overheating. The solution that works for me is I remove a layer after my warmup and leave it at the bottom of the workout hill. Your clothing holds less sweat and heat so you don't wind up as cold and heat dizzy. That said, I don't know if that's realistic given you live in a pretty populated area. The base of my usual workout hill starts on the edge of a farm.

45 minutes on the trainer including 2x10 low tempo. Tiny steps but soooo relieved to last more than 5 minutes.
I took a couple of advil first and was expecting to skate the edge between "this hurts" and doing actual damage. The first 5 minutes was tough because it did hurt and it was a constant guessing game of whether the pain was just residual soreness or if it was about to spiral out of control like it did the last couple of times I tried to ride. After 5 minutes the pain settled down and my legs started to feel somewhat normal, well, weak and sad but not damaged. The tempo intervals even sort of felt healthy. I could have gone longer, or harder, but I decided for once in my life to quit while I was ahead and live to fight another day.

heal up fast @Ygduf.
over here, I'm excited because tomorrow night is the season's first track night! Additionally, I plan on doing an easy 45' with some pedaling drills on the road or the trainer tomorrow morning.

Yep, heal up. If you can get your hands on it: Mepilex or Duoderm resists sweat a lot better. Mepilex breathes so it won't give you as much trouble with sweat. Duoderm is like really thick, super sticky tegaderm that seems to get stickier when you sweat into it.
As for my training: 8X3 min Z5. I was about to die. Just die. I also had to do them inside, so, blech I don't want to do the trainer in April. Stupid New England.

Yeah, if you're still getting a lot of oozing Tegaderm needs to wait. Duoderm will absorb a bit so it can go on earlier.
It does help that the intervals are short. I've even done 30/30s on the trainer. All-out sprints are no good, obviously. Definitely preferable to do the harder stuff outside, but you can get by in a pinch.
