Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cold and raining outside. went and did some messages. Took it slow because rim brakes with worn pads meant stopping was almost non-existent optional. brought a new set of cycling gloves at one LBS but realised after I left that what I'd actually gone in for was a new set of brake pads. So I stopped off on the way home at the second LBS to buy some. For some strange reason, I was the only one out on a bicycle. Now back inside and warming up with a large cup of coffee.

Oooh, there was a little chin music from Ohtani. Benches were cleared but no brawl ensued.

That said, I don't know that I'd get this kind of tape again. It has padding and the seam. I bought it online (several years ago) and you don't know what you'll get going that route.

Maybe I'm wrong, but this stuff doesn't seem like it'll fare well on sweaty rides.

When my friend would do a stoppie at a red light he would just set the rear wheel down and ride, no endo involved.
Looked like a Danny Macaskill move.

Interesting watch if, like me, you've wondered if bigger wheels would make your bike go faster.

You should be watching videos to guide you towards your next steps after mastering the wheelie

Around 48 here in Philly, and it’s been raining to one extent or another since about 3 pm yesterday. Lather, rinse repeat tomorrow.
