Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is a whole list of fairly innocuous words that get auto-censored. Words used routinely on 1960's TV shows.

Someone who wants to get banned should post a complete list. George Carlin had a list of seven words you couldn't say on TV, BF must have a list of 700 words we can't say here, plus the firearms ban, and maybe some other stuff I don't even know about yet.

It's annoying, and I'm sure there's SOME good reason for all of this, but I have never heard a very persuasive explanation.

Tires and tubes for the Domane before going to Texas for the Katy Flatland and Blazing Saddles. Other than that, just entry fees for organized rides and the associated fuel/chow/lodging. Oh, and one souvenir jersey from Katy

I'm not counting the almost three week Texas road trip with my wife as bike expense (although she might). Great trip...Magnolia Market, Texas Ranger Museum, Museum of the War in the Pacific, Waco Mammoth digs, Dick's Classic Cars, etc etc...it's a whole 'another country!

The Black Bibs are an upcoming purchase for me and the medium/large debate is something I've definitely been considering. According to their chart, I'm on the upper third of a medium size, and they recommend buying the medium. I'm having reservations and your post might have confirmed those are warranted.

Let us know how you find it fits. It might just be me not used to tight fit since my other bib although snug, is not tight.

Today bought a bolt, nut and washers to unscrew the a supper stuck bottom bracket drive side cup using the Sheldon Brown trick - works great.

Ok, now the garbage I bought from eBay and not happy myself.
Bike Wheel Rim Nipple Spanner Spoke Wrench Steel
Totally garbage - the cut for each size is not parallel
I was going to redish the rear wheel, but no chance with this .....

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this after you have ridden it a few times.

Also price and vendor if you care to share.

After making do with cone wrenches and hex keys to remove pedals, I broke down and bought a legit pedal wrench, top of the line, the Park PW-5. My four sisters chipped in on a $100 gift certificate to my LBS for my b-day in June. I'm working my way through using it up.

I bought two of the DiMarchi Leggaro jerseys from Competitive/Backcountry when they were on sale. They look fantastic and perform well for a midweight jersey.

Looking forward to hearing feedback as you use it.

Pearl Izumi shorts

My other shorts were a small, so I bought a small, but these are just a touch smaller. They will be by late season/aspirational shorts with a BMI waist band indicator.

Hey guys! I'm new to this forum but I hope to get some good advices.

Recently I've moved to Mawsynram, India. If you don't know this place is full of heavy rains. So I was forced to learn a lot of info about riding in wet weather. Thanks to bestadviser.net/how-to/how-to-keep-riding-in-wet-and-cold-conditions I've found all info that I need. I've got my new equip from Amazon and now it's much easier and safe to ride a bike during rainy days. But nevertheless I'm still wondering about reflectors for late night riding especially in wet weather. Does anyone have info about cool reflectors?

I always worry they will dull or damage the paint...but I do like this. Maybe I'll put some 3M clear bra on the top tube.

Received the bag and I think a spacer like a wide U over the tube and aligned with the Velcro strap of the bag could do the trick.
