And my last Cardiff broke in too easy. It wasn't a great saddle.

There's a reason why people buy Brooks or Berthoud. The saddles work well, fit well, break in in predictable fashion, and are based on proven designs and reasonably robust construction. The people that make the saddles care about the taints of the people that ride on them. And when the leather gets worn-out, it can be easily replaced at the factory, or by other people that know what they are doing (rhm).

If the saddle isn't suited to the rider, then the rider can leverage against the brand name to recoup much of what they'd originally spent.

None of the above is likely going to be the case with a Unistrength saddle.

What isn’t made in China these days. This link seems to only be car top camping gear.

I have nothing against Brooks, I already have 4, but the price is getting a little steep so I thought I’d try something else.

where are the VO saddles made?
not cheap but IMO even better than brooks, check out Berthoud (not helping)

Actually, I built my own PC from Taiwanese, American, Thai, German and Japanese parts. What was the point that you were trying to make?

Well said, and true of many things.
