Wow... took me a moment to discern that geometry isn't for ONE two-wheeled 'bike, but TWO! One's just not nearly @ 100% ride-safe config... but it'll be there soon enough, yah!

Well....a few more have snuck in and some have been moved on.
I picked this one up locally, sorted it out, realized it felt a tad large under me, and moved it on.
Quantum Race
Then I've gotten my hands on a couple of Colnago's. The C40 is the only C.F. bike I've ridden that compares to the feel of my best steel rides. It is a keeper for sure.
I also just recently got this Master Extra Light that I'm still sorting out. So far I'm loving it and man does it grip and then rocket out of tight turns!
And I found this old Merlin Titanium to give Ti a chance again. Had a new Lynskey years ago that I just did not like. This Merlin has done exceptional well over the 60 miles of so I've put on it.
Swapped on Wickwerks 53/34 chainrings and a new cassette and chain to increase the capability of this old beauty
And finally I grabbed this weirdly set up old Holdsworth Professional. Plan to use this instead of the Dutch Azor Bike when I rehab from the next knee replacement.
Oh.... and this Kestrel 200 SCI has been sitting in the house partially built for about 2 months now. I've been too busy riding to finish it.

Two day bike pack over Rollins Pass. Bike is a 2003 Specialized S-Works Epic FSR. It’s not my normal bikepacking bike but the route was a bit rougher than most of my routes.

Domane, ready to roll at Rambouillet.
I did all my qualifiers on a steel Soma Fog Cutter, that I had pretty dialed in. Changing bikes before a big event isn't smart, but yolo right?
I had less than 400 miles on the Domane going into PBP. I had it set up close to the Fog Cutter, but a bit more bar drop made the aero bars unusable after day 1. Neck pain. Slightly wider bars led to different hand positions; my left pinkie and ring finger are still numb. Shifting was a touch off; cable housing settling in, I suppose. I had a mechanic at a control tweak things a bit, and it was better. Not as good as the Soma although both are Ultegra mech.
I finished, and generally had a good PBP.

Here is some of the back county areas I spend time riding in around here at 77, years of age, over 6400 SQ miles in my county, 90% open to the public, where you can peddle anywhere you want to go, till you fall over......LOL.
Nothing but Pucker brush, Bell worms, Sage bunnies, Speed goats, Mule deer, Yeller Dogs, Kit Fox, Bobcats and lots of Badgers, and TOO many feral horses/donkeys to see.

This is looking East from North end of the Trinity Mtn Range, at approximately 7500' elevation, at the Humbolt Mtn Range, the highest peak on the left is Star Peak almost 10,000' elevation.
The light color strip is I-80 going EB at about 4000', (at the base of the far Mtn's.)

Looking SW into the Trinity Mtn range, approximately 6000' elev,
as far as you can see is Decomposed Granite Rock and sand trails,
and the road is going down into the creek bottom, for over a mile.
At the bottom the road forks, takes you to the bottom of the ridge line showing and then up a very steep hill to a road that goes South bound around the ridge top, and the back side of that far ridge line.

Just brought this home.....
United "Motocross". My first BMX and got it for casual neighbourhood riding.
The 21"TT and extended layback seat post provides a decent amount of cockpit room. At 63yo I don't plan on learning to do crazy "tricks"
Here's what the bike looked like originally. The seat was way too low so I picked up a longer post, a better seat and removed the flashy TT pad. I also swapped out the resin pedals for alloys.

The saddle has me thinking of the old westerns where the riders would run and jump right from behind onto their horses. Very cool if you can still do that.
