Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The website says 15mph minimum. The regulations also stipulate a bike with a BB height of no less than 11.25" and cranks no longer than 170mm. Also an 85" gear minimum.

I'm very sad that my vintage track frame doesn't qualify - with the largest tires that fit, the BB is only 10.75" high or so

Thankfully they have bikes to rent!

in stock in almost every size with 12 speed 105 di2! not sure how i feel about a 5k bile with aluminum rims, but change those out and this would probably be 90% of the ride of the fancy pants one i have for less than half the cost, even after the upgrades!

Took my daughter on the Cap trail today. Expected it to be dead, boy was I wrong. Was a little worried she would be all over the place and cause a crash, but she impressed me again, and held her line.

Of all the music coming out in the 60s I was most excited about Jimi Hendrix. The loss of Jimi hit me harder than any of the other icons of music during that era. A big disappointment.

But you may be right. These days it might stir up the crazies, or it might not.

Here you go Velo Vol
Your pirates still have the best record in the National league. They are solidly ahead of the Brewers and have won 9 of the past ten.

i certainly would not! But i have quite a few friends who would rock that, especially in the white. It also seems like the bike shortage has lessened greatly, back when some of the other trims came out they were all more or less instantly out of stock.

IN my size, too. If only I didn't already have 10 bikes 9 bikes, 3 frames, 2 forks, and a box of parts.

I suppose I could tell Mrs. GJ that I'm trying to support the bike industry.

Ordered a PI jersey from Amazon. Clicking on the blue choice showed the color as "heirloom". It showed up today and it's an orangish-red. Also, it's kinda big on me. I always order XXL but this one is really big. I have other XXL jerseys that are tight.

Anyway I got on a live chat with a nice person who asked me to go to the return page and see if I could exchange for the blue one. It doesn't give me the exchange option. Plus, if I order another blue one it will be red. He said he understood and after a lot of back and forth he ordered me a blue one in XL and said I could keep the one I already have. I don't know how he ordered a blue one but I'll find out next week if he could.

You could do it at about 65. As you go thru the banked turns, you start high, drop low thru the apex, and exit high if you’re following a racing line. The banking basically straightens the turn. When I did the NASCAR experience years ago, we took the turns at about 125 and faster on the straights.
