Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They do, but I don't have one. Unlike most, it's not a straight tube. It is flared at one end for more chest coverage. I don't know whether I like that or not.

Before Addiction came along, Vol and his wingmen hung out in Foo. Lots of quoting going on in there.

We are still having hot, humid days, but on some of those days, like today, the humidity drops noticeably. The prevailing Easterlies of Winter are showing themselves on occasion. A month from now it will all be over and, barring yet another injury I will have five months to get back into riding shape. I am very much looking forward to that.

....but yeah.

It looks like they've also added "snoods," which are straight, but they look to be Primaloft, and not my preferred merino.

Thanks - I'm in no hurry to replace it. Heck, there's probably a better chance that I'll move to a new 12sp, semi-wireless group (getting rid of the shift cables, at least), before moving on from the Cervelo.

I've had that thought too, but last two days, riding with an ex-Cat I and owner of 2 big bike stores, on his old steel bike, may have shifted my frame of reference.

Who are you going to have retrofit the downtube shifter nubs on the R3?

I'm impressed with how nicely my aluminum Cinelli rides and it's the cheapest frameset I own.
