Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Colnago has some cool paint jobs. PR82: "The paint finish is a replica of the frame ridden by Giuseppe Saronni to win the World Road Race Championship at Goodwood in 1982."

Beautiful bike. The classic Colnago paint schemes are wonderful but most of the new ones are pretty horific. I did a quick fix on the color for you if you don't mind.

Hi Ben,

Sorry for the late reply. I love this frameset. It's plenty stiff as the downtube is ovalized at the BB but the ride is still pretty smooth. At the time this bike was made it was a pretty high end steel frameset. The lugs are nice too. The geometry is stable and it's a great long distance ride.

Thanks, Mike.

I think I bought this bike in about 1993. The framest is called Tange Prestige Ultimate Ultralight. The downtube is oversized and it's ovalized at the BB. The geometry is relaxed and the lugs have a little style. I'll try to take a few more pics for you.

Thanks, Mike.

Here's my recent build, based around a previously unused, unbuilt 1978 Raleigh Super Course.

I want to join the club! Here is my 2008 Lemond Sarthe. True Temper OX frame, Ultegra and 105 drive train.
Fits like a glove, rides smooth and fast. And its the color of a summer day. My other bikes don't get any road time anymore.

1999 Tommasini Velocista.
62.4cm with mostly Campy Record stuff (still need brakes and levers)
Campy Vento Wheels
I'll update when my Tommasini white saddle arrives, but for now I can say, this is my dream bike. I ride it close to 250 miles a week and don't have any complaints! Sorry for the iPhone pic.....better ones soon!

Hello may I join the club or does having a Ti bike in my little flock disqualify me?
