A nice bilenky midlands coupled bike for easy transport. Add racks and some drop bars and you could tour the world with this thing. It's got 59 center to center top tube and a 58ish seat tube. I bought it thinking it would fit me but it's just too big. I'd guess you want to be over 6 feet for this. It's complete for $775, which considering it's coupled and a bilenky seems fair to me. Come give it a test ride if you're interested. It won't include the pedals but other than that it's as pictured. I took the pic on my ipad - it looks way better in person than my limited abilities can show.

I am selling a vintage red and yellow 12 speed Club Fuji racing bicycle. Price is $300. The frame measures 22" / 56cm. The bicycle shows some moderate cosmetic wear. The pictures should do the bicycle justice. As with many older bicycles which have sat for a while, it likely requires a standard tune up before being road ready. The gears do shift properly and the brakes are fairly responsive. From what I understand this bicycle does have some desirability amongst collectors. It has a Sugino GLP gearset, as well as Suntour Cyclone shifter components. It also has a set of Dia-Compe 400 brakes as well as Suntour Cyclone pedals. The wheels are UKAI 6 speed racing rims. This is a nice bike but I think, note I said think, the price seems a bit high with paint in that bad of shape, I would think that $200 would be more in line but E-Bay did have another in similar condition trying to get $300 as well, and another trying to get $800 but appeared to have it's paint job pretty well marked up. So maybe $300 is a good deal. I can't believe those go for that much now.

I own an 84 Fuji Club and it's the lightest of all my steel bikes, and the above one has the nicer Suntour Cyclone derailleurs vs mine that has the Suntour ARX thus I believe it's an 85. Going back to the weight issue, the Fuji catalog listed my bike at 23 pounds and I have a size 58 bike, but according to my home scales and my LBS scale it weighed in at 20.8 pounds in 100% factory stock condition (except the tires and tubes of course which are lighter than factory stock), if the 85 model used slightly lighter Cyclone components then that 85 should weigh a tad less than mine, but on another forum someone claimed theirs weighed 24 pounds, not sure what the discrepancy is all about.

The only issue I have had with the Fuji is for some reason the headset keeps loosening up, not sure if that's because I got the bike 2 years ago with just 5 miles on it that whole time and the headset needs to settle in or what, but I've only had to readjust it twice however I haven't rode it much either.

I think the Fuji quad butted tubing was a sleeper tubeset that never got the recognition it should have gotten. It seems to be stiffer than my Reynolds 531cs frame and about on par with the Miyata triple butted splined frames I have but lighter than Miyata. It's a nice riding bike, firm riding.

I took a look at it last night. Decided to pass since it is the version without the derailleur hanger. Figured I'd give it a plug here (not the seller).

Rear derailleur is Shimano Skylark long-cage, brakes are single-pivot Shimano. As I recall, the seatpost, stem (GB), crankset (Nervar) and wheels (27") were original.

Bike was dirty, but chrome, paint and decals looked very good. Frame appeared straight, but I didn't take it for a test ride as the tires were flat.

I think he'd take $100, maybe less.


Reading my review, I'm beginning to think I should have bought it.

You may have missed out on a good bike. My '73 didn't have an integrated RD hanger (when did the GS ever have one?) but that doesn't stop it from being a great frame. (I did my 30-mile round trip commute on it yesterday.)

I am a bike mechanic. I fully overhauled this bike. The bike has hardly any miles. The original owner bought it, rode it a couple times and hung it in his heated garage... I replaced the tires and tubes with some continental race 23c folding. I replaced the cables and housing. Bikes bearings have been cleaned and freshly repacked with PHIL WOOD grease. The frame and all components are cleaned and polished to new condition. This bike is amazing and will need nothing but a rider that is approx 5'9" to 6'2".
