Nice bike! Loving the colour too, those guys at Mercian do some lovely paint jobs. I've got an 'intensio blue' Vincitore special single speed I had made in 2010, more than a decade later after high miles and crap UK weather the paint still looks as good as new.

That green will look good with black or silver builds, but I'd much prefer shiny silver all the way, let the whole thing shine.

Mercian has some really great colors.... umm.. "colours"... in their catalog.
Well, at least in the catalog that I picked up a few decades ago....



Honestly, I think the British had some great colors back then. Even the humble Raleigh Super Course had a great green option....



... but I admit to being seduced by that Raleigh catalog as an impressionable youth, so I'm quite biased!

That frame is stunning. My 87 Professional remains my favorite bike all these years later. If I were to get another Mercian it would probably be a Vincitore in touring geometry.
