That's Greg Curnoe...I think he made it for Mike Barry and probably wanted to show the Mariposa frame more than the components. Greg died tragically on his bike when a driver plowed through a group of 12 bikes, he was an active rider and enthusiast and an important artist in Ontario.
This is an original. It's in Thailand right now.

Am I the only one that is reminded of the scene in the second Jurassic Park where everyone is running through an overgrown field and the Velociraptors start jumping out and taking them down one by one when looking at this?.....
