unfortunately, we have been getting rain everyday and the humidity is off the charts. I really did not want to deal with that today, so I did 45 miles and 1k ft of climbing on the Kickr today while I watch the TdF coverage.

8 miles today and it was very sad. The massive deluge Thursday night severely washed out our city trail that connects to the state trail along the river. It will take a lot of work to fix and the rain seems to keep coming each day. I’ll be working to come up with some alternate routes for the next few weeks or months.

Did my first century of the year yesterday, 118 miles. The first half was an organized ride to support the East Coast Greenway called "Ride the State". Connecticut is only 120 by 60 miles.
The organizers offered a bus ride back to the start with the bikes hauled in cargo trailers. I opted to ride back. 90% of the ride was on a paved MUP.

How early were you out and back? Since my air conditioner decided to die yesterday, I was more than a bit uncomfortable and sleepless. New special fuses from Home Depot helped fix it this morning at 7am.

I rode the 50 mile Tour De Burger today. I rarely ride in groups. I did today. I hung at 20-22 for just over 30 miles then faded. It was my first ride of over 35 miles in about a year, and my double hernia surgery kept me out of the saddle for 6 weeks in April and May, so I am happy enough.

First light. Good to hear you got your cooling issue fixed. Our AC is starting to struggle, but a fan can take care of it. This heat is tough on us PNWesterners.

That's great progress! I would ride more event's than I typically do, but usually the event has some sort of requirement that deters my interests.

The Gulf Coast Bicycle Club is a fantastic group of riders. They have done a whole lot of advocacy work locally and at the state level, and they have some very skilled organizers as well. We had 3 Stone County Sheriff's deputies on the course keeping an eye on things and helping with the very little traffic we encountered.

i'm sure it is great. Sadly, it may be one of those events I would never be able to participate in.

Other than it being in South MS, why wouldn't you be able to participate in it?

49 miles today. round trip to stinson beach from downtown SF. weather was... not cooperative, to say the list. windy AF and so misty/foggy in spots that my bars were actually wet, as if i was riding in the rain!

here are my stats and a strava heatmap since picking up a road e-Bike. a great three months.

21 day with 900 feet.

Only I can't see the last page of this thread. Apparently, something on the forum is broken.
