Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just reviewed the patient notes from the noctor consultation this morning.

Oh boy. She said she warned me of several things which she didn't (not that it matters). Several times she refers to me as "she." It says she gave me a patient financial assistance card when she didn't.

Should I correct the record on these inaccuracies? Or let it slide?

Looks like only one of us was paying attention.

That reminds me, I have a noctor appointment on the 20th. I'm going to take my secretary* along to take notes.

Liz out to see Dune 2 with SIL and niece. I would like to see it too, but someone's gotta watch baby. Fortunately for me, Liz likes re-watching things.

Liliana can now hold the bottle by herself which is sweet. So I get a few minutes to post and sip my wine in peace . She needs a little help in tilting it when the volume gets low - so my time for adding quality content is NOW

Speaking of re-watching, anyone like Platonic? I really enjoyed it.... so much so that I want to re-watch (would be Liz's third time). With my rate of TV consumption - I may be ready for a new show by the time the holidays come around.

No secretary for me. I retain all information in my lock-box memory.

At least until the end of the day.

No gender ambiguity at the outset of the care summary, which began in MoAlpha -approved format.

I had a similar experience. The doctor claims to have given me verbal instructions that I have no memory of having heard. And there was an incorrect gender reference included as well. It’s clear, to me, who was not paying attention, But my opinion doesn’t really matter. I’m taking my business to an outside cardiologist, and paying cash, rather than wait the eight months until the next insurance covered appointment. In my country, and at my income level, I can afford to do this on occasion.
