I got a speeding ticket for doing 65mph in a 40mph zone. I know he didn't clock me at where he says he did, because I was doing 95mph at that time. I couldn't very well fight the ticket though, could I?

When someone last year got caught, he said that the tests were flawed because he was doping on all the other days that his tests showed he was clean. Can't make this stuff up

I'd be surprised if most of the allegations were false.

iirc, merlinextralight pointed out earlier in this hybrid thread that an admission to testosterone may give rise to a fraud claim.

I understand the frustration of being caught in an unfair net. Doesn't mean he's clean, but if someone was admittedly doping and showed clean tests, he's doing the system a favor to speak out when he actually does get caught.

Talk about clueless.

From what I read, Lance seems to be an egomaniac. His continued racing only feeds his ego.

So his ego says... Let me see if I can still beat the system?

Your conclusion has no logic.

My point: If he can finish third at 37 then he really is that good. Or are you implying he doped last year and is still doping? Because last I checked, they testign is better, more frequent and the guy is still afreak. So, please explain.
Look up "designer steroids". Ever wonder why only a handful of NFL players every year fail the NFL's steroid tests?

Everyone who wants to dope knows what the tests are and how they work. If they want to spend the money to beat the tests, it's easy.

That doesn't mean Armstrong is using PEDs, but his not failing a drug test doesn't prove he hasn't, either. I figure if he's dirty, he's won on a level playing field and easily one of the best cyclists ever. And if he's clean, he's damn well the best cyclist ever.

And the only way we'll ever know for sure is if Armstrong admits to using PEDs. Because if he is clean, there's no way to prove it. So it's pointless to argue over it.

I think you are missing the point of what I said. The guy that got caught admitted it immediately, and said the tests sucked because they missed all the other times he doped.

I think the UCI should enforce mandatory doping.

Again, you've won 7 tours. If you're a doper, why risk it?

You sure they're testing every racer's sample or just the top few? or a random sampling? testing is expensive.
