Here's a rare one, unfortunately in a condition that would seem to cripple its value, but maybe the price is reasonable considering the condition. Photos are good and seller is frank about the paint condition, however I really doubt the contention that 'once painted or paint removed the frame doubles in value.' When does a repaint or strip double the value of anything collectible?

The paint is about 7 scale, but the good news there's chrome (Columbus SLX Tubing is Chrome Moly) under the paint (thats why in places it's flaking!), no dents, no dings and small amount of oxidation. Once painted or paint removed the frame doubles in value. Notice the engraved head tube with Bianchi and the fork crown are engraved with the Roman Eagle, not a decal or a badge.

Doesn't seem like it. The lugs are short with minimal filing. The seat stays don't seem to have the stylized "allez" caps although that may not be a requirements. I think the 3rensho ones also used Campy dropouts and a unique fork crown.

Nice 12 speed Road Bike for sale. I used this bike awhile back but haven't used it for long time now. I was into heavy training a few years back. In later years, it has gotten relatively light use. Everything on this bike is in good working condition. There are a few scratches on the frame from storage, but nothing major outside of that.

This bike would be a great first road bike for someone trying to get into cycling for fitness, and go on rides beyond simple commuting.

For Sale: Classic Steel Guerciotti Road Bike

Frame bought new in 1976: 51.5 cm steel (Columbus). Campagnolo triple chainwheel, front derailleur, bottom bracket, and headset; seven-speed freewheel; barend friction shifters; Superbee brakes. Faithfully maintained -- very little rust; four years ago rode a century (100 mile) ride with it -- thus the conversion to a triple chainwheel. Included are the parts for conversion back to a double chainwheel setup -- Sugino -- with two crankarm lengths (171 & 168 mm) and assorted chainwheels; the original Campagnolo bottom bracket; an old Dura Ace front derailleur (not shown); and a set of Guerciotti decals (unfortunately the original classic olive wreath ones are no longer available). $650 for everything.

got this thing with plains to restore it a while back its a really cool bike and i love it but not enough to keep me from riding my free ride bike. need some parts for my free ride rig bad so its gotta go. hell im not selling because i don't like it i actually wanna see pics of it restored if you end up taking that path. its from my understanding all original aside from the grips front wheel rear derailer and tires. the bikes been in mass its hole life it was actually purchased at orleans cycles down the cape.

This is a new 1982 Bridgestone Serius road bike from a closed Bridgestone dealer. It has been in a sealed box and rubber parts and tires (Bridgestone of course) are just like new. The components are Suntour Cyclone the second best Suntour offered just below Superbe. The frame is double butted cromoly and the bike weighed 23 pounds according to the catalog, the exact same as the later RB1.
