That didn't take long!
I almost pulled the trigger on that myself, before posting it. It would've looked nice next to my red 79 Pro Tour. It's too bad the name decals were removed at some point. But nice paint, chrome bling and pinstripes!

I may leave it without the decals- I have a bunch of sorta beat up athena (not the modern stuff) that might match the patina and make it a real classy ride.

I wouldn't bother with the decals. It's just Centurion on the downtube and a barely noticeable Elite on the Chainstays. You still have the pinstripes and headbadge there.

It wouldn't be to me, but if another member really likes it, who am I not to help enable them?

58cm Specialized Sequoia Road Bike If I didn't just pick up another bike recently I'd probably make a run at this.
Motobecane Le Champion 53cm Poor photos and it looks like most of the parts have been replaced. May still be worth it for the frame alone though.

I guess I'm saying that it's not worth the 2-way roundtrip for me. If it were a few blocks away --- no problem, I'm there. I guess my transition time is about at an hour or so.

I see it the same way...it's not a bike I'd drive an hour for, but I'd drive an hour if it really made a member swoon.

If that white Sequoia was anywhere near me, I'd be grabbing it in a second.
