Slow night, everyone must be finalizing their All-Star picks. There are not many Pittsburgh Pirates who are deserving.

Just got back from a cycling group dinner. No one got dropped. In fact, I excelled.

Sister's family in town. Earlier I played "basketball." It was pretty sad. @BillyD

Tellico Plains looks promising, we could head up and do some hills then finish on the flatter areas.
Do you know what the roads conditions are like? Think of all the tax money Tennessee will scam out of me. what's the sales tax up there now 15%? If I bought you a post-ride diet Cheerwine that would be enough tax revenue to build a couple schools. Prolly.

No water on the Skyway.
I hadn't even shot in probably a year. It all felt weird. Having stiff knees didn't help.

Agree on custom, other than the fact that every custom shoe I've seen looks like a club hanging off that person's ankle.

Once I had converted teh feet to proper measurement I understand your fright. 3,048m of climbing just sounds painful. I get tired just thinking of that much climbing.

I'm not gonna do a ton of climbing tomorrow, but gonna be my first time riding above 5000' in about a year. I heard pie helps with altitude adjustment, so that's what we had for dinner. Rhubarb for the little lady and peach a la mode for me.
