Hey all, I’ve been cycling for some years now and decided to take a statistics course. Part of this course requires a project to compare two groups and I chose to compare tire pressure of road bikes vs. mountain bikes. Hoping I might get a wee bit of help from everyone, if possible, by answering two questions… all of the information will remain anonymous as well.
Do you ride a road bike or mountain bike?
What is your tire pressure upon inflation?
Thank you for any replies.

Road (touring) bike, 35mm tire: 70 psi front, 75 psi rear
Road (tandem) bike, 32 mm tire: 105 psi front, 110 psi rear
(Note: that is the inflation pressure, I get in several rides before re-inflating, so pressure during a ride is usually somewhat lower. Plus, I don't know how accurate my pump gauge is. Plus, the tires come from different manufacturers, so the 35 mm tire is considerably more than 3mm wider than the 32 mm.)
