Top of line for 97 as far road bikes were concerned.This was the last year you could buy an Italian built lugged steel Bianchi until 2009 when the Dolomiti was introduced.
Bike maybe has 500 miles on it and is in immaculate condition.Wiped down after every ride then stored in a climate controlled enviroment.The only thing not original to the bike is the bar tape which was recently replaced with Cinelli cork in celeste and black.Includes all documentation I received from original purchaser.

This original owner 21 inch frame red Miyata Six Ten 15 speed bicycle is in excellent condition with no rust. Tires are excellent and even the handlebar tape is in excellent shape. Serial Number T770425. One blog says:

Lightweight 12 spd road bike, Schwinn Super Sport model. Probably made in mid 1980s.

Tires in excellent shape but tubes appear to be leaking. Has not been used in a few years, but in great cosmetic shape, no rust. Could probably use a tune up.

Picture below is not the exact bike, but color scheme is same, as well as components (breaks, crank, etc.)

Up for sale is a 1989 trek 520 touring bike. Frame size is 24". Fully lugged frame construction, with beautifiul lugs. Fastback style seat cluster. Investment cast lugs with "trek" stamped into every lug. Mid-fork braze-ons for a low-rider front rack. Frame is made out of true temper steel tubing, made in the usa. 24" frame.

Bicycle is in exceedingly fantastic condition- there are no dents or scratches on the frame, and the frame is largely free of any chips and scratches.

Full deore touring component group- deore rear derailleur, front derailleur, cranks, high profile cantilever brakes. Strong wheels suitable for touring or comutting on rough streets. Shifters are shimano 105, indexed. Bicycle rides, shifts, and brakes fantastically.

New cables and housings all around, new bar tape. Rear rack included.

I also have a review from bicycling magazine from 1989 reviewing this bike, which I could email to you if you wanted to check it out.

I could ship the bike, if you are from out of town, but all packing/shipping costs would have to be paid by the buyer and payment would have to be made in advance via money order.

This quality touring bike is ready to go from coast to coast. It is a tall frame for a rider of about 6 ft or taller. It has 18 speeds and cantilever brakes for going up and down hills fully loaded.

New touring tires, brake pads, chain, shifter cables, and quality gel bar tape. It does not have a lot of miles as shown by the fact it still has the original Raleigh leather toe straps and they are hardly worn.

Has sealed bearings in the bottom bracket and both wheels. Bar end shifters. Fittings for front and rear pannier racks on the frame and forks and extra water bottles. Comes with a mirror, rear rack, and water bottle holder.

Also comes with an extra 45 tooth middle chain ring (I switched to a 39 tooth ring), down tube shifters (I switched to bar end shifters), a spoke protector for the rear wheel, and a kickstand. These were all original equipment that I switched out or removed.

Usually what seems like a bent fork is just a distortion of the camera lens and the angle at which the photo is taken. May or may not be the case here but a lot of times that's what it is.

Lug Frame Classic Touring Bike - Trek 720 – New Old Stock

Trek built its reputation on the beautiful lugged frame bicycles built in Waterloo Wisconsin during the 1980’s. These superior bikes are works of art and among the most sought after touring bikes. They were designed with a long wheelbase for stability when fully loaded and provide foot clearance for large panniers. The saddle is a leather Brooks unit with the four copper rivets.

The components are all top of the line and combine to produce a near perfect touring machine. The racks are custom Blackurn’s and three water bottle bosses are provided. If you want a classic touring bicycle, built of Reynolds 531CS Double Butted steel tubing and investment cast lugs, this is the one.

The wheels are Matrix American made hard anodized aluminum with Kevlar radial tires and are stopped by Shimano XT-MC70 cantilever brakes. The gearing is a Barcon non-indexed triple chain ring “half step” combination. This system provides a near perfect gear ratio for maintaining cadence while hill climbing and cruising into the wind.

This bike is considered by Trek to be a 24” frame. The seat tube is 59.9 centimeters and the “stand over” height is 34”. You will find all of the frame dimensions in the photo provided. I purchased this bike new in 1985 for my wife and other than a test ride, it is unused. I have the original manual and the serial number is 1404XX.

This classic bicycle is offered in time for a fall tour at $1950.00, cash only please.
