Nope- missed it entirely. Still trying to process my last addition- a local Serotta CSI, so I didn't put in a bid (domestic harmony and all of that).
But kicking myself now.

But I doubt a modernizing, performance-oriented guy like you would tolerate the limitations of that group for long
I had a thought that that bike with those components for that price were a super solid deal. And actually, I'd be the one to buy Campagnolo brake levers for it, get a Cinelli stem and Giro d'Italia bars, and make it all Campy and ride it as is. I may want to hotrod it later, but really it'd be just outfitting it with DT Syncro II or 9/10-speed Syncro as we've seen done before. If people would bother to buy bikes I'm selling (it's not the season, so it makes some sense), then I'd have room for this jewel (and I do really like it!).

Another Steep Ciocc - World 77 - 65cm!

For an even better price! In Monrovia, CA (where I used to live for a few years). $600 for the opportunity to experience some bonkers geometry. Courtesy of the C&V Facebook group.

If I wasn't caught up in the stupid government shutdown and still needing to recovering from purchasing a very special LeMond I'd make an offer on this one. Columbus SL bike made by the Billato Brothers with Shimano 600 Tricolor. What's not to like??? Now to purge this from my brain before I do something stupid.

I don't know! They just sort of popped up, and since I'm tall, found them very interesting. Debating on inquiring about the one near me. I suppose I could fit one more in my place, especially considering the absolute deal that it is (and the ability to sell of components if desired, ending up with a very reasonable frameset cost).

EDIT: I inquired. We shall see what the owner says!

It's on the ATL CL with more pix. I think it's OK, just looks funny in some pix. But man, it's really just a frame and in very questionable cond.

It seems to go with the backward front fender trend on CL.

'Cherry Master' would be in that class...one of those criss-cross multiple win games with a risqué female theme. Also remember one with a cat burglar theme and in the bonus round you as the burglar try to cross floor tiles on the way to the jackpot trying not to get electrocuted.

Bars are entertaining when you're waiting to sing your karaoke tune.

Dude, those are fairly old and I'm halfway to 52.
