forget about your lack of education, this is a bigger problem.
The shock waves from the Northwest Metro Atlanta area are traveling your way.
they are building an imposter chicken in South Georgia that is 6 feet taller than the Mighty Big Chicken.

Bought one, but didn't use it.
I was actually trying to think of a way to use the Jeep, but could never get it close enough or oriented in the right direction to make it work. Lawn is just too saturated for heavy equipment on it.

A body was found floating in one of the slips at our marina last night. 73 year old guy apparently fell of the dock.

I just have to ask, who here who has been Covid vaccinated has been magnetized and can stick keys to their foreheads?
'You can put a key on their forehead': Ohio doctor falsely claims Covid vaccines are magnetized (msn.com)
I keep trying to figure out how to do that because it would make it easy to carry my keys on a ride.

The last time I was in a Pep Boys (IKR), I asked one of the kiddies where they kept the come-alongs. He had no idea what I was talking about.

Oh brother. I am lucky enough to live in a county that has >70% vaccination rate (that's of the population so prolly >85% of the eligible ones) and coincidentally has a very low covid rate of <2/100K. Even so, some of my patients are not getting the vaccine for reasons that are not valid IMO. I do listen to them and then tell them I still strongly advise they get the vaccine.

Anybody use a bike-to-bike intercom system such as the Terrano thing?
Thinking about trying one for the times my wife and I ride together. One of us is always in front, and between my poor hearing and wind noise it is often hard for us to communicate. Hate to drop the coin without any user reviews.

EDIT: Also, the stupid thing about making claims like this is how easily you can test it and debunk it. The fact that this has gotten ANY traction at all ANYWHERE causes me real dread about the future of humanity.

A couple I ride with uses them but I don't know what brand. They sometimes ride a tandem but now they are the ones who have e-bikes. I think the range of the intercom isn't very far because Tuesday one of them would drop back to stay with someone who was slower and they seemed to lose communication. I can ask them for details if you like.

It’s those same flat-earther folks. Hopefully Darwinism will take care of it soon.

Thanks for asking. Here is the story:
It's not pleasant. She had a minor brain injury mid-April and got pretty much all better, but now has something called "Delayed Post Hypoxic Leukoencephalopathy" which is a worsening of brain function that hits several weeks after the initial brain injury.
She is very happy and comfortable but has trouble with getting dressed and doing other activities. She is spending the summer with us and getting outpatient rehab. They say the prognosis is reasonably good but progress will be very slow. She has been with us for about 3 weeks so far, and no major improvements yet. It's a strain at home, especially for mrs datlas, so we are looking into getting an aide/helper a few hours/day a few days/week to take some of the load off us.
We are hopeful that by the end of the summer she will be well enough to move back to her place in NJ, maybe with a little help there.

I know someone who is in to holistic medicine and takes or rubs all kinds of concoctions into her body. She refuses to get vaccinated because the “science” just isn’t there.
